The Barony of St. Swithin’s Bog would like to invite you to join them!

On October 11th, at Pavilion #4 in the Blue Spruce Park in Indiana from 10 am to 5 pm, you can join us as we conduct a small event.  The activities that are the core of our medieval recreation will be represented and available for newcomers to try including armored combat, period fencing, archery, thrown weapons, arts & sciences, and bardic arts.

This event will also be where our group will have tournaments to determine our Champions for the following year, so if you are unsure about trying these activities, you can spectate and ask questions. We are a non-profit historic education group, part of the Society for Creative Anachronism.  Most of us are not professionals and we are not paid actors.  We are just doing what we love and living the best parts of the middle ages.  All of our activities and events are run by volunteers, and we are always looking for new members.

If you love the history and esthetic of the middle ages, and want to try living history, we would like to meet you!  If you really like what you see and want to join our group, this is your chance to become part of the modern middle ages.
